Nominations for the 76th Emmy Awards have been announced. FX drama “Shōgun” received the most nods with 25 nominations. “The Bear” received 23 nominations, breaking the record for the most nominations for a comedy series in a single year, a title NBC’s “30 Rock” held since 2009. The Kennedy Center has revealed the honorees for the 47th annual Kennedy Center Honors. Francis Ford Coppola, Bonnie Raitt, Arturo Sandoval and Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann, Phil Lesh and Bobby Weir of the Grateful Dead and The Apollo Theater will all be celebrated at this year’s event.
The lineup for this year’s New York Comedy Festival has been revealed. Tracy Morgan, Judd Apatow, JB Smoove and more will perform this November.

Redwood, a new Broadway musical starring Idina Menzel, is set to begin performances on January 24, 2025 at the Nederlander Theatre.
Boop! The Betty Boop Musical has announced it will begin performances at Broadway’s Broadhurst Theatre on March 11, 2025.
Maybe Happy Ending has pushed its Broadway opening back by a month due to supply chain issues related to the show’s scenic design. The Darren Criss-led musical will now begin performances on October 16.
The Kennedy Center’s production of Nine has revealed its cast, featuring Steven Pasquale, Shereen Ahmed, Carolee Carmello, Sasha Hutchin and more. Performances begin August 2.
